Pastor Travis McKenzie, and his wife Missy, started Compassion Church in September of 2017, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary and being ordained as a Free Will Baptist minister in 1994. Travis has a heart to transform Ashland and beyond with the grace, love, and word of Christ. Pastor Travis also serves our community in a variety of ways: as a chaplain for the Ashland City Police department; as vice-president for the Ashland County Minister’s Association; and as a member of the board of the Ashland Pregnancy Care Center and the Ashland County Cancer Association. Travis and Missy were married in 1992 and have two children Joel and Rachel.
